Workforce Development

Workforce Development

Despite TX-SGCP being characterized by a young and dynamic population, there is a strong downward trend in metal manufacturing. The proposed AAF Consortium will leverage our excellence and experiences in outreach, training, and education to solve talent problems through outreach/certificate/training programs geared toward Additive/Hybrid/Convergent Manufacturing for C&F capacity. We work with partners including America Makes, Tooling U-SME, ARM, ACE, and Texas Manufacturing Assistant Center (TMAC) to develop a workforce. Our location guarantees the inclusion of an unrepresentative population and groups not traditionally included in the defense manufacturing systems.

America's Additive Foundry Workforce Development

The America's Additive Foundry Consortium leverages our past experiences in outreach, training, and education to solve talent gaps through our Bachelors Program, Master's Program, certificates, and training programs.
